Care for the people with special skills
Merry
Jacob
St
James MTC, NY
"The Lord has established
his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all."
God is the
creator and ruler of all v19. Everything He creates has a purpose. God has made
each one of us in a way that we could best fulfill God’s will in the state we
are in .We are vessels for God’s miracle to take place on earth. Exodus 4:11
says,"Then the Lord said to him, “Who gives speech to mortals? Who makes
them mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?" God has
blessed special needs people with special skills and it is up to each one
of us to help them to nurture and grow those skills .
Being a mother, I always wonder
how do elementary teachers have so much patience and dedication to manage and
teach a class full of kids for 6 hours? To take care of special needs
children and to develop their special skills we need to have patience, love
and tender care
Each profession needs people with
special talents. So we should use our talents in the best possible way to
serve others. Finding our purpose in life by meditating on Him and discovering
what is God’s will for us is very fulfilling.
Just not as a profession, using
our talents for the good of the community especially the
children and elders with special needs is a blessing in itself and whatever we
do ultimately should be for the glory of God.
Let us always thank
God for everyone who dedicate their time and talents to take care of
the people with special needs, who
constantly needs our love and compassion. Luke 14:12-13 says,He
said also to the one who had invited him, “When you give a luncheon or a
dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich
neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid.
13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame,
and the blind."
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, We pray for those
who have special needs and need our love and compassion. Help us to
fulfill Your will in our lives through the gifts You have given us. Amen.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God is the composer and we are His instruments. Let us do our best to
bring Him glory!
