7 Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
Anxiety is the result of envisioning our tomorrow without God. He who provides for birds can be trusted for His peoples' needs. God is greater than our problems. We are not alone in our pain. God is beside us and promises never to leave us nor forsake us. He has us secured in the palm of His hand.

"Do not be anxious about
anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present
your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus"(Phil: 4:6-7). The best defense against anxiety is staying in
communion with God. Then spend time meditating on the scriptures
and focus our mind on the Lord and His promise. When we pray
there may not be any change in our circumstances but there will come a great change
in our heart and mind. God will empower us to overcome our
mountains. We have to maintain our cool even when the storms of life hit
us, trusting in God that He has us in the palm of His hands even when we are in
the middle of the storm. Whenever we get anxious we have to remind
ourselves that our security rests in God alone, and He is totally trustworthy.
Nothing happens in this world that is beyond the
knowledge and control of our God. He is our strength, our hope and our
peace regardless of what happens. He is greater than our anxieties and fears.
Anxiety indicates that we do not think God is big enough to handle the
problems. God is beside us and promises never to leave us or forsake us.
If we fix our attention on our circumstances or in our own
inadequacy, then anxiety and discouragement will follow. However, when we
focus on the Lord and His power to deliver us, we can rise to any challenge
because our confidence is not in ourselves, but in His promises.
PRAYER
Father, we draw
near to You, casting all our burdens and worries on You, trusting in Your care
for us. Amen.
