Jesus Christ the way, truth and life
Psalm 116:12-19

What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me? vs.12
Have we ever asked ourselves the question which day holds more significance, Christmas or Easter? Indeed Christmas is undeniably the more celebrated one with all of the decorations, lights and music we notice the moment we step outside of the house. Above all, it is the day our Savior was born. But, have we ever felt that Easter is more significant because if we truly understand the importance and meaning of crucifixion and resurrection, we will realize how great our living God is. And as we lead our daily lives we cannot help but ask ourselves how can we repay our Lord when we have done nothing as great to deserve this life saving grace.
We should try to set good examples by living our lives with kindness, love and justice. Our church offers us so many opportunities to actively participate in activities so we can be a blessing to people around us. We need to believe in God’s promises and not loose faith when we go through various adversities in our life. Do we forgive those who have been unfair to us just as God forgives our sins? Are we willing to follow God’s will?
PRAYER
Our Heavenly Father, guard our hearts, thoughts and minds and help us so we do not dwell on negative or discouraging thoughts but only on positive and pure thoughts. Bless us so we can learn to walk in Your ways. Give us the wisdom and understanding to make the right decisions. Teach us to always pray with a thankful heart and not to forget the blessings we have received from you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Do we really mean it when we pray Thy will be done?
