Communion with Risen Lord in Daily Life
2 Timothy 2:1-13

"..if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us; 13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself."
In our daily lives we witness God’s greatness through our eyes. Not just by the goodness of the living creatures that walk on this very earth God has created for us but also by the Word that we read everyday to understand His story and witness our faith. Every Sunday we praise our Father God and confess our sins to Him and learn more about His wisdom. During this time we partake communion which is a Holy Sacrament. In Luke 22:19 it says, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” He does this again with the cup of wine as a symbol of His blood. By partaking in this we are reminding ourselves what Jesus did in the past, as well as a symbol of what our relationship is with Him in the present and our bond with Him on what He will do in the future. When we look at the resurrection of Jesus we witness the intensifying power of God Almighty. It is clearly stated in the Bible that He created the world and everything on it, but many didn't believe such a statement and started to drift away from the path of faith. It was at that point where God had to make a choice on letting His Son die on the cross for our sins. It's written in 2 Timothy 2:3 “Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” From the resurrection we can see that God truly exists and also gives us proof on how He is Savior of this very world. Let us continue our journey with Christ and remember He will always be there for us no matter how far we are away from Him.
PRAYER
Our Heavenly Father, help us to continue our journey as a soldier of Christ. Amen.
