 Renewal of the Church

Jeremiah 29:1-9

v5 -  Build your houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

Have you ever asked God, “why is this happening to me?” God sets us in specific areas with a purpose. He will never forget us or leave us, especially during times of doubt and exile. God wanted the Jewish people in Babylon to multiply in number and be a blessing to those around them, including their Babylonian neighbors.

Even when we do not understand God’s plan for us, we need to be open and patient to receiving God’s deliverance from an uncomfortable situation. God sent a message through prophet Jeremiah with the intention of guiding the Jewish people to believe that God will never leave them. God also gave instructions on how the Jewish people should live until future blessings arise. We must be patient with God because everything is perfect in God’s timing. Recognize God’s sovereignty in everything you go through, which may the last thing we are thinking while we are going through something not ideal. God will give us the tools and resources in order to do His will.

PRAYER
Lord, help us to recognize that You are there during our hills and valleys of life. Help us to realize that everything is perfect in Your timing.
