GLORIOUS COMING OF OUR LORD
Mathew 24:40- 51The entire chapter 24 in the Gospel according to Mathew illustrates the coming of the Son of Man. The parables in this passage are the teachings about the events leading up to the return and the revelation of the second coming of Jesus.
Our calling is to be the faithful Servants of the Kingdom of God. As children of such a faithful Creator, we also have our responsibilities towards the creation. We have to live up to our calling in Christ. Our forefathers lead a faithful life. God reveals our calling to us in our lives, just like God called Joseph and Samuel. But we fail to recognize it due to our worldliness. We can identify our calling by identifying the gifts, passion, and vision which are the seeds sown in us to grow in our calling. The purpose of our life is to glorify God.
Pray and give thanks to God for the opportunity to grow in Christ and ask Him to shed light in our lives. The Lord is faithful to those who are faithful and those who earnestly seek Him. "God is always with us and will bring us through every calamity, pandemic, and hardships if we remain faithful. God is faithful, and as your friend, He knows you intimately and has been with you all the days of your life. You will be blessed for your faithfulness. You will be rewarded for your commitment. Do your best to stay faithful, and not give up on your goals and your other commitments.
Loving Father, thank you for giving us the assurance that you are coming back for us. Help us to be prepared for your coming. Mold us to lead a life which you have planned for us. Enable us to be faithful servants of your Kingdom. Strengthen us spread your word and to work faithfully in your vineyard. In Jesus most precious name we pray Amen.
Thought for the Day
God rewards faithfulness and not the size of our ministries.
