UNIVERSAL SALVATION IN CHRIST
Isaiah 45:1-8Verse 8 – “You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the Lord, have created it.”
The main focus of this passage is in the verse 8.
Salvation was given to us when Jesus Christ sacrificed His life on the cross for our sins. Universal Salvation is the reconciliation between God and the sinful humans of this world. When we look at this specific verse in Isaiah, we can see that salvation will spring up from all parts of the earth. This verse is emphasizing the universality and inclusivity of the Salvation of God. Salvation is given to all who seek it and accept it. This passage is focusing solely on the power of God. From all these verses we can see the greatness of the Lord that we believe in. The Lord who has created the whole universe and who is almighty is also the same Lord who is by our side and gave His life for our salvation.
Through salvation, we gain power, strength, riches, and forgiveness all from the Lord. This all will be given to us as a result of us accepting Christ and living a life that is pleasing to Him. On this day let us reflect and accept that perfect salvation of God, which has been given to us.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for graciously showering us with your amazing love and showing us your unconditional love through your sacrifice on the cross. Through that sacrifice, we were able to obtain salvation and we give you all the praise for this amazing act. Lord, we pray that you allow us to be living testimonies for you in this life and allow us to praise you in all facets for all that you have done for us. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Thought for the Day
Let us reflect on the amazing salvation that we have obtained from the death of Christ on the cross for our sins. Let us understand the importance of this act by Christ and let’s worship Him and praise Him in all ways.
