Education That Leads to Divine Truths

Bible portion: St. John 14:5-14

Key Verse: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (St. John 14:6)

Devotion
In this passage, Jesus proclaims, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." This statement stresses that Jesus is not simply coaching us on the right path; rather, He is the path in our life. When Jesus uses the term "Truth," He is referring to the ultimate, unchanging reality that can only be found in Him. The word "Life" tells us about an eternal and abundant life bestowed through Christ, offering us hope and fulfillment.
Friends, this passage teaches us that when we learn it is not just about cultivating knowledge but about aligning our learning with Jesus, the unwavering source of hope, strength and eternal life. All we learn is in and through Christ and should guide us along the path that leads to the ultimate reality of who He is, offering us profound hope and reassurance in His unchanging nature.
May what we learn not be for an accumulation of knowledge for medals and worldly praise but a transformative journey towards Christ. Let it continue to lead us towards God and have the power to profoundly change our lives and help us enrich the world with Jesus, the way, truth, and the light.

PRAYER

: Great God, as we learn, may our hearts be set towards Your truth and life. Guide us in our journey to know You more deeply. Amen.
