Experience the Fullness of God
Bible Reading:  Ephesians 3:16-21

Key Verse “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” - Ephesians 3: 17-19

DEVOTION

Ephesians 3 is all about the amazing plan God has for those who are not his kingdom, the Gentiles. While most of the Bible is centered on God’s teachings to the nation of Israel, this passage shows a glimpse into what he commands for those who are not, and those who are just beginning to learn about His almighty ways. 
This excerpt is titled, “A Prayer for the Ephesians”. Paul writes this as a testament to God’s undying love for mankind. The New Testament widely shows the apostles bringing Jesus’ - God’s - teachings to those outside of the nation that has spent centuries following him. This prayer not only shows the significance of Jesus’ message, but also the determination the apostles had to bring these words to them and to instill them in their hearts. 
In our own lives, we must do the same. There are so many ways to experience the fullness of Christ, and as Christians, it is our duty to share that. It can be something as small as sharing a laugh with someone, or something as big as sharing the Word with others. To experience the true fullness of God, however, is to bring that undying love to those who do not know it. True, the message of Christ has always been to spread the Good News, but to bring this message to others is to make the biggest impact on someone’s life. In society today, there are so many things separating people, and just as many bringing them together. However, true bonding between different peoples is through Christ, and only he can unify those who are so different from one another under the fullness of God. Christ is not only our daily example, but his Spirit is also empowering us every day to walk alongside him, experiencing the fullness of God. 

   PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us this beautiful world and everything in it. Thank you for your love and kindness; help us to use it for good and for the benefit of others. Lord, help us spread your love to those who don’t receive it and help us to cherish it every day. In Your Heavenly Name, Amen..
