JUSTIFICATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS
Bible Reading:  Romans3:23-31
V23 For all have sinned and fall short of glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which  is in Christ Jesus:

DEVOTION

Let us begin with the universal need for salvation, because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God., because sin affects everyone regardless of their background or status.
   1. .REALITY OF OUR SINFULLNESS  Through Adam sin entered the world, and since then the world is in chaos, alienated from the creator, lost the fellowship with Him,  thus missing the mark of God's glory.  Through second Adam, came the doctrine of Justification by faith which is the heart of the gospel.
THE GIFT OF JUSTIFICATION:  The righteousness that God requires for
for our justification is not the righteousness we perform, even by sovereign grace, but it is the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to us when we believe in His salvific action for our sins. Holy God cannot see a sinful human. Only when our mediator Lord Jesus presents you and me before the God as righteous, when we are cleansed by His blood shed on the cross, and when we repent and accept Him as our savior.
THE ROLE OF FAITH:  Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and
the conviction of the things not seen. Faith is the confidence or trust in God and His promises. It is important because it is the means by which we have relationship with God. There is an assuarnce we have in faith, it is not about what we do, but about trusting in what Christ has done for us.
SCOPE AND IMPLICATION OF JUSTIFICATION: Justification is
available to both Jews and gentiles. God's grace is inclusive, that  all can come to Him in faith. Justification does not nullify the law but establishes it. True faith leads to a transformed life that fulfills the righteous requirements of the law.

PRAYER

Lord,I have sins and shortcomigns to be forgiven, cannot perform to what the law demands. I trust you and come to your throne of grace for cleansing by the blood shed on cross and redemption. Bless me O' Lord, amen.

Thought for the day

Let us encourage each other to embrace the gift of grace, to live out on faith and to share the message of justification through Jesus with others.
