JESUS CHRIST WHO GRANTS FULLNESS OF HUMANITY
Bible Reading:  1 Peter 1:18-25
Vs 18:knowing that it was not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, that you are redeemed from your vain  manner of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, the blood of Christ:

DEVOTION

This passage encourages believers  to recognize the  significance of Christ's
sacrifIce and the importance of living  their faith through love and adherence to God's word. Integrating the topic of Jesus Christ as the one who grants the fullness of humanity , can be approached by understanding the themes of redemption, identity, and transformative power of Christ's  sacrifice.  We can try to study under four themes.
1.REDEMPTIVE SACRIFICE:    In the passage we study,  about being redeemed
not with perishable things, but with the precious blood of Christ. This idea can be linked to the fact that  Jesus Christ grants the fullness of humanity by redeeming us from sin and restoring our true identity as children of God.
2.NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST:  Apostle Peter emphasizes  the point of being born again through the living and abiding word of God.  This new birth  signifies a new identity  and purpose in Christ, highlighting how Jesus fulfills our humanity by offering us a new life  reflecting His nature.
3.LIVING HOPE :  Another theme Peter mentioned here is a Living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This hope is  fundamental and basic  to understand our humanity in Christ.  By embracing this hope, believers can fully realize their potential and purpose which Jesus exemplifies.
4.CALL TO HOLINESS :  The call to live holy lives reflects the fullness of humanity that Jesus embodies or represents.  By following His example we can achieve the fullness of what it means to be human, living in accordance with God's design.
5.ENDURING THE WORD :  Peter concludes with the emphasis on the enduring nature of God's word. This can be tied to the idea that  Jesus as the word -became flesh – is central to understanding the  fullness of humanity.  It is important to remember that our lives  are meant  to be shaped and guided by Lord's teachings and his sacrifice.
To summarize, a. costly nature of our redemption, b. the hope of eternal inheritance, c. call to love,  d. scripture as the foundation of faith and source of Life.

PRAYER

Lord ,forgive us for placing our focus on temporary things. May we meditate on what it means to be redeemed by christ's blood and how it it shapes our identity. Let this knowledge motivate us to share the enduring truth of God's word with others.

Thought for the day

In a world  that changes constantly, and often feels uncertain, we can find stability, and hope  in God's promises.
